Identified - Clever has isolated this issue to users logging into Chromebooks with Clever using their Google credentials. Badge logins are not impacted. At this time, Clever recommends updating to Chrome OS 72. Investigating - We've received reports that Clever logins into Chromebook devices are resulting in errors for some users on Chrome OS 72. They are working with Google to investigate the issue and will provide updates. In the meantime, they recommend keeping your Chromebooks on Chrome OS 71 or below until a resolution is found.

Update - The vendor who provides our text-to-speech service indicated that they were experiencing lags in the delivery of the text-to-speech yesterday. They indicated that this issue has been addressed at this point and delivery is returning to normal. Our testing indicated that text-to-speech delivery is much improved today, although there may still be some small delays. We will continue to monitor this functionality.

Update - ATI has identified an issue with the third-party software used for text-to-speech. This issue occurs intermittently on Chromebooks and results in a lag in the text-to-speech delivery. We have initiated a support ticket with the vendor. We will post additional updates as they become available.
